Hardy, easy-care and compact growing Tuxedo® hydrangeas bring all the benefits of their summer flowering stable mates, but with a twist. Near-black foliage is a perfect foil for their richly coloured blooms. Those handsome dark ebony leaves mean Tuxedo® hydrangeas retain their good looks and provide striking contrast among other plants, even when not in flower. 

Growing to just under a metre (tall and wide), Tuxedo® hydrangeas have impeccable garden manners! They’ll not become leggy and will remain attractive without excessive cutting back. 

Tuxedo® hydrangeas enjoy partial shade and, if possible, a rich, crumbly alkaline soil for very best results. They’ll thrive in pots too, if they receive some protection from hot afternoon sun. Water thoroughly at least every second day during the dry months.
